Zena of Cedar Creek
(Quail Meadow Mistral x Raspberry Jam)
Jennifer and Zena have ridden twice with Mark Rashid
This photo was taken in January of '06 in Richmond Hill, Ga
Zena and her '05 filly, AngelsDance Galatea, out of pure Lippitt
stallion, Scattered Oaks Boldventur.  We expect a full sibling in
August of '07.  Inquiries are invited.  See the foals page to see this
filly as a yearling.
Zena is Jennifer's soul mate.
This little mare has been a trusted
companion for 7 years now.  She
has won in numerous CTR's and
traveled 100's of miles.  She is
smart, unflappable, and sweet.
She also turned out to be an
excellent mama, giving birth
to her first foal and filly in '05.
Zena is a the golden cross of
Brunk and Old Government
lines.  She has a huge road
trot that will cover the miles.
She has a home for life.
BACK TO FARM
Zena has a gorgeous head.  The interesting thing is she is roaning as she ages.  This photo is at age 11 and some might mistake her for an older horse with all the white.  Her sire, who I met at age 25, was roaned over his entire body.  She also displays white hairs throughout her coat.
It's always interesting to make comparisons.  Here is Zena and her 2007 colt, AngelsDance Druid Oak, full brother to the filly at left.
